The Kitchen Project

In May 2011 I found these world market napkins at a thrift store for 30cents each. I put them with the World Market Coasters so you can get an ideal of how mismatched my stuff will probably be lol.

Spanish mood Oneida serving set.

4x small glasses from the world market 1.49 each.

Coaster set from the world market.

3 glass refridgerator storage dishes and two wooden spoons from the world market.

Stone wear plates from the thrift store and rummage sales.

red bowl (pier 1) bought from the thriftstore.

4x purple salute stonewear plates, and garden ridge primary colored plates. Random Oneida silverwear and Mikasa butter knife from the thrift store.

Oneida Spanish Mood line. (7 butter knives -ebay)

Well I have been discovering a few things as far as dishes go. I really like stonewear. Over here in the SW the popular brand of plates is Mikasa. I think any stonewear as long as it is colorful (pattern or color) and can be microwaved is just fine. As far as silverwear goes I am quite particular and really like Oneida brand because they just seem to last forever. If you buy a piece of Oneida from 20 yrs ago it still is functional, and the brand doesn't bend easily. My favorite line from Oneida is Spanish mood.
